The Innovative Partnership for Action Against Cancer (iPAAC)’s WP5 webinar will take place on 30 November 2021 at 4 PM (CET).

Scope of the webinar: It is the occasion to take a look at opportunities and challenges of cancer prevention, based on the findings of the iPAAC Joint Action report and meetings.

Aims of the webinar:
  • Promote the iPAAC WP5 results and conclusions for building capacity for prevention

    Launch of the 2nd part of the CPE multilingual on-line learning programme on cancer prevention at the 14th European Public Health conference

    On the 11th November 2021, CPE launches at the 14th European Public Health conference the second set of modules of the multilingual online learning programme on cancer prevention.

    These 2-hours course consists on 12 self-paced modules on the “Latest evidence, myths and controversies” on primary and secondary prevention of cancer, and complements the first set of 13 modules on the European Code against Cancer (3-hours course) launched in April 2021.

    14th EPH Conference – Workshop “Toward Europe Beating Cancer Plan goal of 80% awareness of the European Code Against Cancer in 2025”

    Next Thursday 11 November 2021, CPE representatives will be present at the next 14th European Public Health Conference (Virtual Edition).

    Dr Carolina Espina from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) will be chairing the dedicated workshop “Toward Europe Beating Cancer Plan goal of 80% awareness of the European Code Against Cancer in 2025”.

    Dr Joachim Schüz from IARC, Dr Jérôme Foucaud from the Institut National du Cancer (INCa), and Mr David Ritchie from the Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL) are invited as speakers to discuss how to achieve the 80% awareness goal and to improve cancer prevention literacy in general.
